Dr. Shawn Chopra is a Board-Certified Internal Medicine physician with over 15 years of experience in hospital medicine, post-acute care management, and healthcare administration. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Yale University/Danbury Hospital and holds a Medical Doctorate along with an MBA in International Healthcarefrom the University of Cumbria in the United Kingdom.
As the Chief Medical Officer for Avante Physician Services, Dr. Chopra leads initiatives focused on improving patient care, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring compliance across healthcare settings. His expertise includes value-based healthcare, advancing international healthcare systems, and optimizing processes to deliver high-quality, cost-effective care.
